HCMC – Motorola Solutions on Tuesday introduced two newest additions to its mobile computing portfolio – the ES400 global Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA) and the new MC3100 of mobile computers – on the local market.
The new MC3100 series of mobile computer offers advanced computing power, industry-leading data capture options, enterprise-class motion sensing capabilities and the versatile form factor for mid-range mobile computing.
The MC3100 provides enterprise mobility customers with a single, cost-effective in-premise solution for converged voice and data communications.
It is designed for key-based and touch-screen applications insides the enterprise, such as price/stock management, inventory control, returns processing, shipping and receiving, baggage tracking and asset management.
The mobile computer will help retailers, government agencies and distribution centers streamline business processes, improve employee productivity and enhance customer service and satisfaction.
Meanwhile, the ES400 Enterprise Digital Assistant comes with integrated voice and data capabilities, and the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, enabling workers in field service, field sales, retail, healthcare, utilities, and other to collect data and access applications.
The ES400 EDA will arrive later in 2010 with a price of US$750 per unit, while the MC3100 is in the range of US$1,500 to US$2,500 per unit and available through Motorola channel partners and Motorola sales outlets.
