U.S. real estate services provider CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has become the exclusive leasing and marketing agent for a trade center to come online in Hanoi in 2011.

The Mo Market Trade Center, at 459C Bach Mai Street, is being built by the Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation.

The 24,000 square meter project, with a total budget of VND1.5 trillion (US$81.23 million), includes a 15-storey building and a 25-storey building designed for shopping venues, hotels and office space.

Four floors of basement and a half basement will be used to house a parking lot and a traditional market.

Shopping venues for high-end goods will be located on the first five floors of the complex. The remaining part of the project, from the sixth floor and above, is for office, service facilities and apartments.

The project is set for completion in October next year and expected to become operational in August 2011.

In September this year, CBRE, one of the leading property consulting firms in Vietnam, was also appointed to become the exclusive marketing agent for the Savico Plaza Hanoi Trade Center in Long Bien District.

The US$25 million complex will open its doors in 2011 and will feature retail, restaurants, offices, entertainment centers and cinemas, Vietnam News Agency reported.
