Vietnam plans slower lending in 2010
HANOI – Vietnam’s credit growth next year is projected to slow to 25 percent after a rise of 37.7 percent in 2009, with money supply growth also heading lower, the central bank said on Wednesday.
The State Bank of Vietnam targets next year’s M2 money supply growth at around 25 percent from 2009, down from 28.7 percent this year, it said in an annual report.
